Call me crazy BUT with less than 48 hours left till we meet our little one I wanted to squeeze in just one last itty bitty project for the nursery.
Way before there was a bun in this oven I fell in love with these cute puppy bum hooks at Ikea and always thought to myself that they would look adorable in a kid's room.
I mean who doesn't love a good puppy butt?
So on a recent trip to the Swedish wonderland when I saw they had some booties in orange I just had to swoop up a few for Baby B's nursery. I decided to hang them behind his bedroom door.
Aside from being adorable I though they were a rather practical purchase as well. As an infant we can use them to hang his little hats or bathroom towels and as he gets older he can use it for his coats or perhaps even to swing on.
I mean isn't that what little boys do?
I thought they needed a little something-something to help jazz them up
and then it hit me.........the ever so classic "snips and snails puppy dog tail" quote would be the perfect saying to go above my little puppy butts!
So I busted out some white vinyl and my Silhouette Cameo machine and got to work on my custom wall quote. After the machine cut out my letters I use some transfer paper to place the quote on the bedroom wall. Super easy!
So there you have it.....my last project for the nursery!
Doesn't it feel like I've been working on this room for like a bajillion years?
I know a lot of you have requested to see the whole room and I promise to share the "BIG reveal" some time soon after Baby B's arrival. We chose not to share his name with friends and family and we have a few personalized things in his room so that is why it is top secret for now!
Alright folks, next time we talk I'll be a mommy AND a walking zombie.
