Turkey Day is right around the corner and because I am so thankful for all of my Delightfully Noted pals I decided to share a little something-something with y’all………
Say hello to Tom! He's Mr. November for the 2012 desktop calendars now available in my shop. I decided he needed a little bit more publicity so Tom is now also a free printable iron on transfer you can download from here.
I printed off a few for myself and used them to adorn some cotton muslin bags. There are a ton of other ways to include Tom in your Thanksgiving festivities {although he’d prefer to stay away from any carving knifes and turkey basters this year!} You can use the iron on to decorate linen napkins for your holiday table, cotton favor bags, t-shirts, baby onesies; the possibilities are endless!
What you’ll need to get started:
Printer
Transfer paper {found at most craft stores}
Iron on transfer {download here}
Iron {you’ll be using the cotton setting}
Fabric {linen napkins, apron, t-shirt, tote bag, etc}
Scissors
After downloading and printing Tom take your scissors and carefully cut around your design. Place your design on the garment of your choice face down {design has already been set to mirror image}. Iron on transfer using the cotton setting. Allowing transfer to heat for about 15-20 seconds. Remove backing from iron on paper after transfer has cooled
I hope you enjoy Tom! As always, I love to hear all the creative ways people use my printables so please don’t hesitate in sharing your ideas!
