Ribs, oh my! Pretty sure Baby B has a wombmate {ha ha get it?} and it inhabits my left rib. Either that or the kid is already four feet tall.
Eating mac n' cheese will never go out of style, NEVER!!!
Glow? Glow? What pregnancy glow? Instead I feel like a walking ad for Proactive. The "before" ad that is.
New craving? Strawberry milkshakes.
Admiring or hating that fact that the Duchess {whom is due the same month as me} sashayed around in a bikini a few weeks ago. I didn't even look that good pre-preggo.
Newest craving since I wrote that last sentence? Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.
Thankful. Thankful that despite all the sweating, peeing, pains, and worrying that in 17 weeks {17 weeks??? HOLY CRAP!!} we'll be able to welcome our sweet little boy into the world.

Well I think you look great! Pregnancy is the scariest, craziest, most wonderful thing. When I had kayla I was 17 and so clueless. With my 2nd daughter 10 yrs later it was a totally different experience. The worst part I have to agree is always having to pee lol! Heather
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh you are a doll! I love your honesty! I am working on my 23 week post right now :o) so fun to see you and your bump and your progress! And I agree--yikes 17 weeks!!!!!

You are so cute Jennifer!! I can so relate...and that 17 weeks is going to FLY by. I am so excited for you to meet your little man, and I'm still with you on the mac n cheese ;)
ReplyDeleteLove it! Everything you said is so true. It is a wonderful experience though!
ReplyDeleteyou are beautiful!! and I can't handle seeing any pics of princess kate bump watch - there is not a bump yet!! How is that possible?? and I was craving mac and cheese today and didn't have any!! I need to eat some!!!
ReplyDeleteAwww.... Look at you!!! How exciting!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny, but I can't even imagine all the wild thoughts pregnant women have. I'm pretty sure my own over-analyzing and CDO (get it?) would be in full blown paranoia like you're talking about.
Hang in there, girl, the feelings of worry will never go away (hello, raising little humans and growing them up into big, responsible, self-sufficient humans is a HUGE deal) and you will never have it fully figured out, BUT that little boy will be so loved and cherished by you and D, and you will have these most amazing moments of mommyhood and complete clarity that you are doing everything as best as you can and THAT makes it all *totally* worth it. Just know that doing the best you can and doing what's best for that little fella is *exactly* what you're supposed to do. And I know you're going to handle that with absolute grace and love (even though it will not feel like that at the time).
In short... you totally got this.
Now go get some strawberry milkshakes, mac-n-cheese and cinnamon toast crunch. You're totally earning it. ;)
You look so good, girl! I'd say you have no reason to envy Kate. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery cute post and don't you look like a million bucks!!!
ReplyDeletelove this necklace and also your blog! It's so nice!!! I follow you!
ReplyDeletePass to my blog and if it likes you follow me too, I will be so glad :D

I know it can be rough & annoying & 'Where are all those prego pluses everyone told me about??' BUT as you said, Soon you'll be holding that little rib-kicker in your arms & your world & heart will never be the same!
ReplyDelete17 weeks?! You look amazing! Much cuter than Kate! I never looked that cute when I was pregnant. My belly took over my body and no one could even recognize me. Hang in there, things will get better!
